About Juli Cunningham, RN
Juli is a dedicated aesthetic laser nurse with over 20 years of specialized experience at Potozkin+Ellis Dermatology & Aesthetics. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San Diego State University, Juli completed a Pediatric ICU internship and became a certified Neonatal Intensive Care nurse at Torrance Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles. Her early career carried her across the country from various pediatric/newborn positions to a ski-patrol triage nurse in Park City, Utah, and acute care at the University of Utah Medical Center, -before returning to her Northern California roots.
After working for Caremark Pharmaceuticals in the Bay Area as a home infusion nurse for approximately 10 years, Juli found her true professional passion in cosmetic dermatology, partnering with patients to achieve natural-looking, rejuvenated results. She specializes in a spectrum of advanced laser treatments, including her personal favorite Fraxel® Dual for pigmentation, fine lines, and skin laxity. She takes pride in the long-term relationships she builds through personalized care, patient education, and a comfortable, supportive environment.
Outside the clinic, Juli is an avid athlete and certified exercise instructor with over 30 years of teaching experience. Her lifelong love of movement spans snow skiing, water skiing, hiking, and biking. An enthusiastic reader, she continually seeks fresh insights into wellness, beauty, and personal growth—bringing that same spirit of curiosity and commitment to every patient interaction.
